Arabic Speaking Influencers in Turkey

During the past few years, Turkey has opened up to the Arab world, with thousands of Arabs flocking to it annually for study, traveling, investing, medical treatment, among many other reasons.

With the growth of Arab societies in Turkey, many young people wanted to share their experiences during their stay in this country. Social media was the best way to achieve this. Some have succeeded in growing a huge social media presence with millions of followers.

Yollando has prepared the following report, which sheds light on a group of the most prominent of these Arab speaking influencers in Turkey.

 

Mohamad Kendo

The Syrian artist “Muhammad Kendo” graduated from the Faculty of Journalism and Information.Later devoted himself to religious songs in both Arabic and Turkish.

“Mohamad Kendo” identifies himself as an artist with a purposeful religious and social message. Says that he hopes his voice will bring happiness to everyone who hears him.

Mohamad Kendo’s followers on social media numbered hundreds of thousands and in some cases millions, especially on Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram.

Mohamad Kendo has many famous songs, but the song “Muhammad is our Prophet“, which he recorded with his young daughter, “Judy”, is the most-watched on his YouTube channel, although its duration doesn’t exceed one minute.

Mehdi KAMKH

A Syrian young man, who specializes in presenting social videos that mix Turkish and Arabic languages, and focus on surveying the opinions of passers-by on the streets.

“Mehdi Kamkh” also presents Turkish language teaching videos that are characterized by their short duration and their focus on the sentences and phrases most used in daily life, especially on YouTube and Instagram.

“Kamkh” posted many videos that achieved millions of views, the most prominent of which was a video in which he reviewed the reactions of Turkish citizens when he pretended that he did not know any Turkish and asked them to read a text message written in Turkish saying that his father had passed away.

Amal Al Turk

A Saudi-Turkish entrepreneur specializes in providing videos for women, including food recipes, hair and skin advice, and more.

Al-Turk also presents videos about its tours and diaries in Turkey, and has more than a million views on the Instagram platform.

Dua Mnalla Alrayess

A blogger and esthetician living in Turkey, she provides advice to women on a wide variety of topics, including makeup, hair, and skincare.

Doaa presents, through her videos, a number of natural face masks, in addition to a review of a variety of veil rolls.

A Syrian designer and web developer, interested in entrepreneurship and developing emerging projects, he provides various videos on topics related to technology and business development.

 

Ghada Othman

A Jordanian fashion designer and entrepreneur, she has hundreds of thousands of followers on social media.

Ghada launched a special project for veiled clothes, which she says is characterized by high-quality materials and models that are modern, and at the same time compatible with the Arab culture.

 

Mohamad Sarhan

A Palestinian prepares videos about Turkey’s restaurants; he goes to them and reviews the most prominent traditional and modern foods, then explains their ingredients and tries to describe their taste.

He gets thousands of views, whether on his YouTube channel, or his Instagram and Facebook pages.

He has many distinctive videos, including “The Best Meat Restaurant in Istanbul” which received more than 700,000 views on the YouTube channel only.

 

Muthana AlSalih

An Iraqi journalist and reporter residing in Istanbul, focusing on providing short and light social and news videos.

“Muthana” has tens of thousands of followers and views on its social media pages, especially Instagram and YouTube.

“Muthana” has many distinctive videos, especially the video entitled “Sadeem Challenge Two: The Challenge of Specialization: A Young Man Looking for a Job Opportunity?“, Which received more than 50 thousand views.

 

Samar Shaker

An Iraqi blogger residing in Turkey, born in 1990, with a BA in Communications Engineering, she began her social media career by sharing her daily experiences as a veiled woman.

After that, Samar set out to present videos about veiled clothes and many topics of interest to women in general, and she had previously presented a TV program on these topics.

Samar also focuses on the topic of trips, so she tours places with her husband, and share the details of her trips through the camera lenses.

The videos provided by “Samar” have millions of views on social media, especially on Instagram and YouTube.

 

Abdulrahman Algamily

A Yemeni blogger living in Turkey, he presents and discusses many social topics through his social media pages.

“Algamily” focuses on reviewing aspects of life in Turkey in general and in Istanbul in particular. He has many videos that have achieved high views

The most prominent of these videos was titled “Young Arabian visits Dirilis Ertugrul and watch an amazing military Show”, which received more than 3.5 million views.

 

Eman Ridha

An Iraqi illustrator and blogger, on her social media pages, she talks about her daily life and her way of life in Turkey.

Eman Reda is keen to present her videos in a simple way, in the natural places where she lives, using the Iraqi dialect.

 

AYMAN NABEEL

A Syrian young man has resided in Turkey for years and provides advice on living and buying property in Turkey.

“Ayman Nabil” calls his social media brand “Turkey’s story” on his Instagram and Facebook pages.

 

UpSaad

A young Iraqi man, born in 1990, has a mechanical engineering degree from Tikrit University and resides in Turkey.

  Saad’s passion for design, photography, and montage overtook his studies, and his main job now is as a videographer.

“Saad” provides, through his social media pages Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, and Facebook, technological information and advice, in addition to various topics, in a simple way, and in the Iraqi dialect.

 

Salah Chatah

A Syrian author and blogger residing in Turkey, working in the field of teaching Turkish, provides training courses, and has a published book entitled “Learn Turkish from your mother tongue”

“Chatah” also presents, through its social media pages, especially Instagram and YouTube, various tourist, cultural and social videos.

“Chatah” has many followers of his videos and publications, but the most prominent video of him, was entitled “A meeting with the grandson of Sultan Abdul Hamid II“, and it received more than a million views on YouTube.

Mohamed and Rami Moussalli

Two young Syrians reside in Istanbul, Turkey, and present a variety of videos on YouTube that are mostly comic.
